“Brand It Day” Logo Promotion 03/08/09

 As some of you may remember Kreashuns Graphics Group (KGG) had a “Brand It Day” Logo Promotion on May 8^th, 2009.  For that day only you could get a logo (4 samples) created by KGG for $50.00.  Unheard of since our regular price for a logo with 4 samples is $200.00.  KGG decided to do this promo to show our support to our clients and potential clients during this difficult economic time.  We wanted to offer potential clients the opportunity to get a logo created for there new business.  With job losses due to lay-offs, company closings, etc. people are starting new businesses everyday.   The printed media arena is one of the areas where you can help your business rise to the top.  Branding is a huge part of getting the word out about your business.  This can be done in many formats from business cards to websites and various media’s in between.  We at KGG want to help you and your business soar above and beyond the clouds for all to see and take notice.  This is what we try to do on a daily basis.  We want your potential clientele to be able know it is you by recognizing your brand. 

Logos are probably one of the best ways if not the best way for people to recognize you and your business.  A logo that has stood the test of time is “Coca Cola” yes the logo says “Coca Cola” but it is also the colors of red and white those also catch your eye.  Then there are those who “Brand” with their name i.e. “Oprah” who brands with just her name and with “O” we recognize both as soon as we see them.  Branding is such an important part of a business and a logo is a major part of branding weather the logo is the name, letters, numbers, colors, images, or a combination of any or all of these.  KGG understands that and strives to achieve that for our clients either by the client coming to us with a design in mind or if we need to create a design for you based on you input.  We know that getting branding items can be expensive but KGG will continue to do our part to help those who want and need branding done.  How you may ask, well we will from time to time be offering various promotions and discounts on all branding items.  So please send us your e-mail address to kgg@kreashuns.biz and put “Add me to your e-mail list “in the subject line.  Also you can become a fan of KGG on Facebook, do a search for Kreashuns Graphics Group and become a fan and you will receive updates on KGG events including promotions and discounts.

Realtor for and about the people….

Remonda Stevens - Kreashuns' recommended realtor!

Meet Remonda Stevens, a Realtor with Exit Realty of the Valley located in Decatur, AL.  She has been a Realtor for 4 ½ years and decided that this is what she should be doing because in her words “I have always been a people person who enjoys helping others and I felt that Real Estate was a way to utilize both qualities”.  Remonda had been interested in Real Estate for some years.  When a friend got taken advantage of in a Real Estate deal, she decided to go to Real Estate School to be able to help people, and make a real difference in their Real Estate experience.  Remonda bases her business on hard work and honesty two key factors that she says are needed to be a successful Realtor.

If it is important to the customer, then it is important to me”.  For the past 3 years, she has received awards for being a Million-dollar producer.  Remonda is proud of the fact that she did not earn this award by selling 1 or 2 million dollar homes, but rather a lot of smaller homes.

 

Remonda offers these words of advice on making a Real Estate purchase; when purchasing a home make sure you understand all aspects of your contract. Don’t be afraid to ask questions.  She would also like for you to know that if you are looking for an agent that truly cares, please contact her.  It doesn’t matter what size home you are buying, you will still be treated with the same courteous and professional service.

Barber Extraordinaire!

Today’s post features Joel Liner, Master Barber, of Renaissance Barber Salon. He’s been in business for five years doing what he loves. Cutting hair is Joel’s passion. WOW!!!

Danica - I was her for a day

…and so the saga continues….  Ok, so remember yesterday, the whole hard drive failure thing? Well, I was so in a tizzy because I had the PowerPoint for “THE seminar” on that hard drive, right?” Well, turns out I copied the presentation onto the server at Dr. Bryant’s Decatur office so he was able to stop by and load it onto his external. The day is saved, right?…WRONG!!  How about, this morning, the morning of the seminar…hmmm around 9:15 – 9:20ish am (seminar starts at 10) Dr. B announces that the bulb in the projector is blown!!! It’s a Dell projector, you have to order their bulbs online and we don’t have a BACKUP!!  Backup, there is that word again. Keep in mind, this is a “smile” seminar. What’s a smile seminar without visuals of before and after photos of what the good doctor can do?! So, after calling a couple places and being thoroughly disappointed that they don’t carry Dell projector bulbs – I had to think hard and fast because it is now approaching 9:30am (seminar at 10!). So, I was feeling a little lightheaded, Dr. Bryant was sweating, Denice was in la-la land as she made coffee and put the bagels out (gotta keep the show going), and Dr. Allen, mildly offered suggestions. Anyway – as I literally felt my head spinning I said “no more time to try to find a miracle bulb”. I knew I had to find a friend or colleague with a projector. Called my friend and colleague, Chanda, no answer…my head literally spins again. And then there was Dwayne! The trusty old friend who is the tech-master, so surely he has one. And guess what? I called him, he tried small talk, I cut the small talk and said, “look, I need a projector and I need it NOW!”….So I grab my purse, fly out the door, put my Danica Patrick hat on, and there I go! At this point it is 9:35am (seminar at 10) So, I literally drove my 3.5 Altima (so much power that baby has – Dr. B offered his Vette after the fact) like I was on the speedway. I’m ashamed to say that I broke some highway rules, but ,hey, what was I to do? I got there..and got back at 10. Our guests were patiently waiting and we got her done! So, lesson for today…BACKUP….again   Backup DRIVES, have backup PLANS, backup EQUIPMENT, etc. etc. And if you are hosting events, get there extra early…give yourself time for disaster and coming up with a solution without nearly passing out and making illegal u-turns! (did I do that?)

My day

Hi guys! This has been some kinda day. It was already to be a long day, but got even longer once my hard drive crashed. My life is literally on that hard drive. Fortunately, I have tech saavy friends who are on top of it (thanks Carol, possible Dwayne).  Let us pray that they are able to correct the problem. I know it’s Friday, but I don’t have the entire weekend to get this thing fixed. Big seminar in the morning (Saturday) with Dr. Bryant and it has his presentation on there! Now do you see my frustration?  Tehnical devices – the best things since sliced bread when they are working correctly, but when they get sick on you…..I have no words. So needless to say – this is one of the challenges in my world of entrepreneurship. The lesson for today – BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP. Guess I need a server, huh? I’ll get my assistant on that.
